Music Mentor Network has funding to help four public school music students attend approved summer music camp programs. The maximum amount to be awarded to any one student is $250.
The nomination process will close at 11:59 PM on Friday, April 26, 2024. Scholarship winners will be notified on or before 11:59 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024. Funds will be dispersed on or before Friday, May 17, 2024. Funds will only be released to a school or a 501(c)3 music education-missioned organization that can serve as the fiscal sponsor to receive funds on behalf of the student.
To be considered, nominees must be submitted by a sponsoring music educator on behalf of the student and must provide the sponsoring organization information. Sponsoring music educators may submit nominations for multiple students.
Student nominees:
must be currently enrolled in a music ensemble at their public school.
will submit a solo audition video recording.
will write a personal essay.
will provide a letter of recommendation from their current music teacher.
